How does MannMitra work?
Sign in, add money to your wallet, choose a counsellor who is online and start a chat or call. You pay per minute only for the time you talk.
Is my identity kept private?
Yes. Counsellors never see your phone number, and you can use a nickname instead of your real name.
Who are the counsellors?
Listeners, life coaches, qualified counsellors and RCI-registered clinical psychologists. Every profile is verified before going live, and the type is shown on each profile.
How much does it cost?
Each counsellor shows a per-minute rate before you start — usually ₹8 to ₹60 per minute depending on their type and experience. New users get their first minutes free.
Can I bring my partner into a session?
Yes. For relationship and marriage counselling you can invite your partner using their MannMitra ID, an invite link or their mobile number.
What if I am in crisis?
MannMitra is not an emergency service. Tap the SOS button for Tele-MANAS (14416) or call 112 right away.
Can I get a refund?
If a session failed or the counsellor did not respond, raise a request from Session History within 7 days and our team will review it.
